Another fantastic Family Photo Session at Ironwoods Beach as the McTigue family, who hails from southern California, came to Maui on a recent trip. While the family was here, they wanted to be sure to get a mini photo session in. A mini session consists of a 30-minute time period that is quick and easy, and yet still allows us to capture a lot of photos.

This session was especially smooth as the kids were so great at taking direction and being forthcoming with all those wonderful smiles. Their daughter is actually a budding photographer, so she brought her new pink Polaroid that she got for her birthday, and we gave her the chance to direct a few shots at the end of the shoot! That made this shoot so much fun to be a part of!

Something that they did that I, as a photographer, love and appreciate is they did a great job with their outfit selections! Blue and white makes for a great choice for a sunset or sunrise shoot. Although Maui has so many great choices for beaches to photograph our sessions, on this day, Ironwoods Beach was so beautiful and did not disappoint!
