Are you looking for a sturdy Backdrop stand for Product Photography?

I know I looked for it at so many places, I checked out many stores on Instagram but couldn’t find the perfect one.

Most of those stands were made out of plastic and weren’t that sturdy. (I bought one)

My ideal backdrop stand was one that was sturdy, not too heavy, and portable in size.

A stand that I can comfortably use at my home studio without it taking too much time in assembly or taking up too much space.

You will find backdrop stands on Amazon which is essentially meant for fashion and portrait shoots.

They’re bigger in size and won’t be of use to you if you’re primarily a Product Photographer who deals with small setups.

Luckily…

I found the perfect backdrop stand for Product Photography right on Amazon.

I bought it and used it for a few of my projects before writing down this recommendation.

Backdrop stand for Product Photography

This is a HIFFIN®T-Shaped backdrop stand. It is 6 feet wide and 9 feet tall, the height is adjustable.

The backdrop stand comes with a free carry bag which is quite convenient.

The name has ‘T-shaped’ because the stand comes with 2 crossbars which are fixed onto the verticals stand to create an entire horizontal rod for putting the backdrop on.

Its price can be in the range from ₹1,199- ₹1,999 depending on the offers available on Amazon when you buy it.

When I wrote this blog post, the price tag was ₹1,354.00. If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you’ll get the stand delivered in one day itself.

I highly recommend in investing in this backdrop stand if you’re an aspiring Product Photographer.

A lot goes on behind creating a single photograph and time is of the essence.

Any amount of time that you can save by using something that makes the work easier is worth it.

This backdrop stand paired with a table will work as your Product Photography workstation.

It’s better to have a dedicated table for your setups rather than having a table which you have to clean out everytime you have to shoot.

An affordable option is to get yourself a foldable table like this one or this if you want something in white.

Check the tables before buying because the dark wooden one comes as it is while you have to manually assemble the white one.

I bought the dark wooden foldable table.

You’ll also need backdrop clips to hold the backdrop on the horizontal rod.

You can get a set of 10 backdrop clips for ₹569.00  on Amazon. If you have a stationary store nearby, check it out as you might it get it for cheaper from a local store.

One alternative is this backdrop stand by the brand AJ Life on Amazon. It has extra items – a white curtain & 3 backdrop clamps along with the stand and a carry bag.

I haven’t ordered it and it has no reviews on Amazon, so its up to you if you want to give it a shot.
