Apple Watch Series 6 became the all-new rival to Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 3. But Galaxy Watch 3 has just received a big update that can turn the tables.
The update is now being rolled out to the global LTE versions of the Galaxy Watch 3. It will released for other versions in some time.

What has changed?
Apple Watch 5 and 6 can last 18 hours on a single charge. Galaxy Watch 3 was ahead of them with a battery life of two days and now with better battery life, thanks to the new update, it just got even better.
Health tracking sensors have benefited from the update as well. The patch notes guarantee expanded dependability for the VO2Max and SpO2 sensors, and to the sleep, heart rate, and stress scoring. There had been complaints from clients that rest tracking scores had been making trouble, so ideally this will fix that issue.
The blood oxygen sensors are new additions to both Galaxy and Apple watches. So, as of now their performances can’t be compared. Both of the watches have their price starting from $399.
It will go on sale from September 18.

Features of Apple Watch Series 6 & Apple Watch SE
Design
It has an always-on display and measures 40mm/44mm. The Apple Watch SE measures the same, has a retina display and an aluminum finish.
The design of both Series 6 and SE is the same as that of the Apple Watch Series 5. Though they will be available in a new set of colors, straps that include solo loop and braided loop which has no buckles or pins.
Apple Watch Series 6 will be available in: aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium finishes. It has Nike and Hermes models too. Whereas Watch SE has only aluminum.
Between the two, only Watch Series 6 has an always-on retina display like the Watch Series 5. Its display is said to be 2.5x brighter than the Series 5.
The retina display on Watch SE is not always-on, it is the same as that seen on Series 4.

Processor & Software
Apple Watch Series 6 has a dual-core S6 processor, U1 chip, and fast charging support (full charge in 1.5 hours). It has ultra wideband antennas that enable short-range wireless location features like next-generation digital car keys.
The S6 processor is expected to be 20% faster than S5. Watch SE runs on an S5 processor which is 2 times faster than Series 3 but slower than S6.
Both of the Apple watches have heart rate sensors, accelerometers, always-on altimeters, microphones and speakers. They run on the latest WatchOS 7 software build.
The Apple Watch Series 6 comes with all the same features as the Apple Watch Series 5, including the ability to take an ECG, fall detection, and International Emergency Calling, along with high and low heart rate notifications and irregular heart rhythm notifications.
Release date and price
You can place pre-orders from September 15. Apple Watch Series 6 will be available to purchase from September 18. The price tag starts from $399 in the US and £379 in the UK.
The Apple Watch SE will start at $279 in the US and £269 in the UK.
