After getting its name up in the list of the biggest smartphone brands, Xiaomi is all set to enter the Smartwatch market. Xiaomi smartwatch – Haylou has been announced.
Haylou smartwatch has been listed on Youpin for crowdfunding and has raised over CNY 10 million, according to reports by MyDrivers.
Specifications of Xiaomi Haylou Smartwatch
The smartwatch has a 1.3-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 240×240 pixels. It has a wide NTSC colour range and Bluetooth 4.2.
Like most of the smartwatches, Haylou can measure heart rate in real-time and alert the user in case of abnormalities.
Haylou comes with sleep and activity tracking sensors which collect data such as speed, steps etc. It can show alert notifications for various reminders varying from the clock, sedentary to activity.
The smartwatch has an IP68 certification which means that it is resistant to dust, rain and splashing. It can also withstand high temperatures and impacts.

9 Tracking Modes
One of the key features of the Xiaomi smartwatch is its 9 tracking modes present in the training program. It can track the following activities: walking, running, hiking, cycling, treadmill, fitness, mountain climbing, spinning bike and yoga.
It also has an automatic sleep monitoring sensor, which can analyze and record users’ sleep habits at night. When they get inadequate sleep or awake times that can let you understand the quality of sleep, and help adjust sleep practices.
14-day battery life
Xiaomi Haylou has a 210mAh battery, which according to claims by the company, should last 14 days. Black and silver are the available colours.
The Haylou smartwatch has TPU wristband and supports Bluetooth 4.2. It features dimensions of 40.9×35.7×11.6 mm, and weighs only 34 grams. The fitness watch provides a 210mAh battery, which as per company claims, can last up to 14 days on a single charge.
The current system language of the watch is only available in Chinese, although with a future update it is expected to have an English interface.
Availability & Price in India
Haylou has a price tag of CNY 119 which is roughly Rs. 1,200. So far, it has been launched in China and the plans about other countries haven’t been revealed yet.
