Google Pixel 4 launch date is October 15. This date was confirmed as the company sent out the media invites recently.

The launch will take place in an event in New York, except Pixel 4, other hardware will be released as well.

Specifications of Pixel 4

Some specifications of the Pixel 4 have already been shared. It has a 6.23-inch OLED display on the XL with a resolution of 3040×1440. The screen has a refresh rate of 90Hz.

A refresh rate this quick will result in smoother scrolling and animations on the device.

The smartphone’s body design has a single color or a textured back and comes with a Triple Camera Setup at the back.

The triple camera setup will most probably consist of a wide-angle, standard and zoom lens. Pixel4 uses Google’s cool Soli radar-based gesture-recognition technology for its updated face unlock and some motion controls

It has a large top and bottom bezels, which isn’t seen in most mobiles these days. The larger space at the top might be needed by the Soli tech and dot projectors for the new face unlock.

Expected Price of Pixel 4

Pixel 4 is expected to cost Rs. 72,990 for the 6 GB RAM / 64 GB internal storage variant.

New ChromeOS-based Pixelbook will be released

The rumors suggest that the hardware launch will see a new ChromeOS-based Pixelboook and new Google Home smart speakers.

More details about Stadia is also expected to be shared in the event on October 15. Stadia is Google’s cloud gaming service which is scheduled to launch in November.

Google also could show off additional surprises, including maybe Chromecast updates, or an update to Google Wifi to take advantage of the newly certified Wi-Fi 6 standard.
