Huawei added the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 on Thursday, in its list of upcoming phones in India. This smartphone will be launched in competition with Realme X, Galaxy A50, and Oppo K3.
The device measures 163.5×77.3×8.8mm and weigh 196.8 grams, which is more than the Realme X. But this fact is understandable as the Y9 Prime has a bigger screen and battery.
Price in India
The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is priced at Rs 15,990 in India and will be available on Amazon from August 7.

Design
Huawei Y9 Prime has a huge 6.59-inches display of the resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The screen-to-body ratio is of 19.5:9. The PPI density is a bit less compared to its competitors, ~391.
The back of the phone is made of plastic. There is a 3.5mm jack with active noise cancellation and dedicated mic support.
It doesn’t feel very premium in hands. But it is offering a unique dual-tone finish on the back that reminds one of the Pixel phones.
The mobile comes with USB 2.0, type-C reversible connector. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the back of the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019.
It is available in 3 colors: Emerald Green, Midnight Black, and Sapphire Blue.
Processor
Out of the box, it comes with Android 9.0 (Pie) and HiSilicon Kirin 710F paired with octa-core and Mali-G51 GPU.
There are two variants available of the smartphone, one is with 64GB of internal storage and the second is with 128GB of storage. Both the variants have the same 4GB RAM.
The device is powered by a 4,000 mAh non-removable battery.

Camera
The main is a Triple Camera Setup consisting of 16MP(wide)+8MP(ultrawide)+2MP(depth sensor). It features an LED flash, HDR and panorama. With this triple camera setup of Huawei Y9 Prime, you can record videos up to 1080p@30fps.
The front camera is a motorized pop-up camera of 16MP. It can record videos of up to 1080p@30fps.
