This is the first time a piece of news about Vivo Nex 3 has surfaced and that too with such a bold and unique feature.

Vivo is all set to set an example in the market by introducing the first-ever smartphone to come with a screen-to-body ratio of over 100 percent.

The photo shown below was leaked by tipster @Ice Universe. It shows two pieces of glass on the front and the back of the smartphone. Its edges are curved around 90 degrees.

Since the phone has glass on both sides, it is possible that it will come with a unibody glass design. The company boasted the unibody glass design in the Apex 2019 concept phone earlier this year.

No notch on the display of Vivo Nex 3

In addition to this, the tipster also claims that the Vivo Nex 3 will have no notch on the display. From this, we can imply that the device might come with an under-display camera and fingerprint scanner.

Instead of the under-display camera, it can also have a pop-up camera since the display has no holes.

As this is the first time we’re hearing about the existence of Vivo Nex 3, not many specifications are known except the major screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone will come with Snapdragon 855+ octa-core processor. It has been confirmed by Vivo.

You can expect it to launch later this year.

Last year’s Vivo NEX had quite a lot in common with the Apex smartphone that the company had showcased a few months prior. So you shouldn’t be surprised if this year’s NEX flagship phone has no ports, speaker grille, or an earpiece.
