Xiaomi has been seeing an exponential increase in its market share in India. Though Xiaomi is widely loved and trusted by its users, the one thing that annoys everyone is the repetitive ads.
The system app which can’t be uninstalled often create push notifications and crowd your notification bar. This makes it harder to sort out the actual notifications that you might want to see from your friends and family.

How To Remove Ads on Xiaomi Phones
I wish I could make this shorter and simpler but I can’t. This might take 5-10 minutes of your day. Sigh. But the results will be worth it, all ads will be gone!
Go to the settings on your device, Settings > Additional Settings > Authorization & Revocation.
msa. You won’t be able to turn it off in the first go. It will keep showing some error for the first 2-3 times until it gets eventually turned off.
After this go back to Settings > Additional Settings > Privacy > Ad Services and turn the personalized ad recommendations off.
We are still not done.
Now that you’ve disabled ads from the settings, you’ll have to go to each app that shows these ads and turn them off from there as well.
How to find apps that show ads? Search for Mi in the app drawer and the Mi system apps like the file manager, Mi Video, Mi Music, etc. are the apps we have to fix.
Disable ads in the following
File Manager
Open the Mi File Manager and click on the three horizontal lines icon in the top-left and go to about. Turn off the recommendations.
Mi Video
Open the Mi File Manager and click on the three horizontal lines icon in the top-left and go to about. Turn off push notifications and online recommendations.
Mi Browser
Go to the Mi Browsers > Settings > Privacy and Security and turn off the “Personalized services.”
Security
Go to Settings > System app settings > Security and scroll down to the end. Turn off “receive recommendations.”
Similarly, you can turn off ads in Mi Cleaner and Mi Music app by going into their settings.
