Xiaomi is launching a new smartphone for the Indian and Chinese market, Redmi S2, today in China. The India launch of the Redmi S2 is expected in the Indian market soon.
The Xiaomi Redmi S2 will be available in three variants:
- 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage – Rs 10,500
- 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage – Rs 12,000
- 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage – under Rs 15,000.
Specifications
Xiaomi Redmi S2 mobile has a 5.99″ (15.21 cm) display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The device runs on Android v8.1 (Oreo) operating system and is powered by Octa core, 2 GHz, Cortex A53 processor along with 3 GB of RAM and MIUI 9 interface. The Redmi S2 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and Adreno 506 GPU.
The internal storage of 32 GB can be expanded Up to 128 GB.
The phone has a 16MP front camera that supports portrait mode. The rear camera will be a dual-lens camera setup with a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. The Xiaomi Redmi S2 will be powered by a 3,080mAh battery and will weigh 170 grams.
The Xiaomi Redmi S2 will be available in Rose Gold, Pink, Red, White, Black and Silver.
