You Too Were My Own.

You keep me hostage;
Chained, in your control.
Your houses and hotels,
Soil my very soul.

Your poets and bards
Once sang love songs to me;
You are not like them,
You are deaf to my plea.

You drove my children away.
Your unholy breed
Took their homes to fuel
Never ending lust and greed.

You are no lover,
Just a low born pimp;
Scrounging for money,
Out of selling my skin.

Your daily transgressions
Cause anger, make me seethe.
Your dust, smoke and filth;
I gasp, its hard to breathe.

Your time will come,
Soon your cup shall brim;
And that day I shall see
How you run and scream.

I shall see you despair,
When my wrath boils over;
Yet in my heart I shall cry,
For you too were my own.
