A short set this time of a couple of pictures taken whilst parked up having a break on the A646 Burnley Road Near Holme Chapel, Lancashire. They look up the valley side in a south westerly direction.

The steep sided valley that rises up and gives outstanding views of the near Lancashire and Yorkshire districts of Burnley and Todmorden. The Gorge was formed during the melt of the last ice age and it's in the slopes down that the source of the River Calder can be found.
