The wedding cost usually lasted between the range of 2-3 Lakh Rupees for minimalistic weddings. Whereas a Posh wedding cost around 3-5 Lakhs at Max.  

On the other hand, by the year 2021, the statistics show different data altogether. Here, we have a complete cost breakdown that starts from 3 Lakhs and lasts up to 10 lakhs for a minimalistic wedding. While a proper posh or destination wedding would cost around 10-20 Lakh rupees.

Wedding Venue Cost

A good wedding venue will cost around 50K to 1 Lakh rupees in The Knot Real Wedding Survey 2011. While a super luxurious wedding venue can cost about 1.5 Lakhs at the most. Whereas by the year 2021 the prices have inflated to a huge extent. 

Today, a usually minimalist Marriage hall can cost around a lakh. While a well-maintained wedding venue, with required amenities like a Banquet hall, lawn, the poolside bay would range between 2.5-5 Lakhs as well. While renting a Place for a Destination wedding can be more expensive.

If anything hasn’t changed in all these years, then it has to be the necessity of food in a wedding survey 2011. In fact, the prices haven’t changed a lot in these years. Rather it has gathered more variations in cuisines and styles. 

Earlier a plate could cost between 300-1000 INR at the most with less than ten variations. By 2021 you have more than thirty options for every dish and more than ten cuisines that are accumulated in a plate. But with rising prices, and obviously more options the price has gone up to 2000-3000 INR as well.

Like, every other industry it also had to face the cause significantly. Apart from that, there were other major changes too. Like, the changes in wedding themes, and obviously the styles of the genre that happen recently.
