Vintage Transport

I'm always enthused to visit local events and shoot new and interesting subjects, so when the local charity My Life announced a Vintage Transport show, I thought it would be worth a stroll over.
I wouldn't describe myself as a car enthusiast but I do like to have a good look at the history that surrounds these vehicles and I like to see if I can pick out the different shots to highlight their excellence.
Starting with a couple of shots of this Vauxhall
It was clear to see the effort and many hours of work that had been put into these vehicles to get them to the levels on show today.
Everyone will recognise the VW California with the original split front windscreen and this one was just beautiful.
Moving right up to the top of the scale of luxury we now move over to the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow in an amazing colour scheme.
And of course the magnificent bonnet furniture that comes with every Rolls Royce vehicle.
And of course there were some really old vehicles on show to go with the more modern models that pleased the crowds.
I loved this little gauge that stood up proud on the bonnet of the old Austin - imagine having to keep an eye on that all the time as you drove along!
The final car that really caught my eye was this red american classic with it's vibrant colours and amazing chrome work.
I'm sure that you will agree that there are some real eye catchers amongst the vehicles and the full gallery of other images can be found by clicking HERE and you will be taken to the page.
