Dogtra 1900S Review

Dogtra 1902S

  • The main thing is that the 1902S is built/designed to control and train 2 dogs from the one handheld remote instead of one dog
  • You get an extra orange colored collar and receiver for your second dog
  • The handheld remote also features a slightly different layout/design with a second set of orange color coded buttons one the front and side of the remote to control and train your second dog

Apart from these differences, the 1902S maintains the same features as the original 1900S.

Dogtra 1902S Review

Dogtra 1900S Black Edition

The four main differences between the 1900S and Black edition are:

  • Increased range of control from handheld remote to collar device to 1 mile (the 1900S is only 3/4 mile)
  • Added blue LED lights on the collar device and the LCD screen on the handheld remote so you can see your dog and the LCD display in darker conditions
  • A black matte finish on the handheld and collar device
  • Increased price

With this is mind, it’s better for people that need increased range, and might be using the collar in darker conditions either early in the morning or later at night.

Apart from these differences, the 1900S black maintains the same features as the original 1900S

Dogtra 1900S Black Edition Review

Dogtra 1900S Wetlands

There’s only one main difference between the 1900S and the Wetlands is::

  • It is coated in a camouflaged pattern for wetland hunting.

It’s ideal for waterfowl hunters and those going into similar environments where camouflage is beneficial.

Apart from these differences, the 1900S Wetlands maintains the same features as the original 1900S

Dogtra ARC Review

Dogtra ARC Handsfree

The main differences between the ARC and the Handsfree are:

  • This Handsfree model is designed for field operation
  • You get an extra remote controller and flexible strap that you buckle around your hand or wrist.
  • The handsfree remote controller is fingertip controlled and gives you the freedom to multitask and have discrete control during field operation, making it perfect for hunting dogs and police K9 professionals, or other training professionals
  • With the fingertip remote controller, you don’t have to hold onto the hand operated remote, which still comes with this kit
  • The last main difference is that the Handsfree only has a capacity of one dog, whereas the standard ARC can control up to 2 dogs from the same transmitter if you purchase an additional collar receiver device

So, if you have a need to multi task, can’t or don’t want to hold onto the handheld transmitter remote, fingertip control appeals to you, and you only have one dog to train or control, the Handsfree might be a better option than the standard ARC.

Apart from that, the main features from the standard ARC model are the same on the ARC Handsfree.

Dogtra ARC Handsfree Review

Dogtra ARC Wetlands

The main differences between the ARC and ARC Wetlands are:

  • The Wetlands models has a high finish camouflage dog collar strap/device along with camouflage accents on the handheld transmitter.
  • The system as a whole is better for hunters like Wetland hunters who want camo on the handheld and collar device
  • The Wetlands e collar can only accommodate up to one dog on the handheld transmitter, whereas the standard ARC model can control up to 2 dogs if you purchase an additional collar device separately

So, if you’re a hunter or you will be using the e collar in an environment where camo is beneficial compared to the black finish of the standard ARC model, and you only have one dog to control/train at a time, the Wetlands might be a better option.

Apart from that, the main features from the standard ARC model are the same on the ARC Wetlands.
