TCB Texas Clear Body budgies Cross Breeding

TCB or Texas Clear body Budgies.

TCB or Texas Clear Body budgie is one of the rare mutation this little cute specie possesses. Other rare mutation includes Lacewing, Fallow, Easley Clear body, Saddle back, Crested Japanese Hogoromo or Helicopter and Frosted pied.

Body color:

Yellowish white or white from throat to breast and getting darker towards legs and rumps where it is darkest to shape true body color. You will notice the brighter color is almost diluted. The body color must not be on the head or wing markings or patches if TCB is a good marking bird. It can also be different if the TCB is an opaline.

Throat spots, Head and Wings marking:

Primary flying feathers are light grey, wings markings are lighter black with white edges. Cheek Patches: Violet. But cheek patches can be different depending upon the dark factors a particular TCB has. Feet and leg color: Pink, grey or bluish.

Eyes:

Black eyes with white iris while maturity. Male Cere color: Medium to deep blue. Female Cere color: White or light blue but gets tan during breeding. Main Tail Feathers: Deep blue.

Pairing for TCB:

In order to get TCB or Texas Clear Body budgies from different other mutations we use cross breeding. How to get TCB from other budgie mutation is a million dollar question. But one thing is for sure getting TCB from other mutations you must have at least one male or female TCB to perform cross breeding.
