The Story

Meadow's story:
Meadow in emergency surgery
When the new owners of a family home, brought in Construction Workers to start renovation on their new home-- little did they know that something very precious was left behind on the property. Believe it or not this sight of demolition and rubble with the house being torn apart piece by piece, is where Lotus, a frighteningly underweight Dalmatian , and her companion Meadow would wait and wait for their owners to come back. Sadly, the owners had moved abandoning the pair. There is no love greater than the love of a dog for its human and for Lotus and Meadow who never even leave through the hole in the fence, they would wait night after night with their heads lying on their front step hoping their owners were coming back for them. The construction workers were kind enough to leave food and water for the dogs, but the dogs were overwhelmed with stress that in turn is affecting their well being, not to mention they are tortured with fly bites, fleas and ticks chewing at their skin.

Over 100 ticks were removed from Meadow & over 80 ticks from her companion Lotus.
Meadow's gum is white and she barely has blood pressure. She was crying in pain on the way to the ER. We are so heartbroken, they didn't deserve to endure this much pain & suffering.

How to Help:

Meadow is in septic state on the surgery table for emergency surgery as I'm writing this fundraiser. She has ruptured uterus and the infection has consumed her body. She is fighting to stay alive and we are fighting to keep her alive. Please help us with a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation of any amount. We do medical and hospice rescue because of your continued support. Meadow needs all of us to fight for her.

Please share to your Facebook, email contacts, or friends and family. She needs all of us.

Much Gratitude

Mona & Sara
