Welcome to Frugal Friday! In an effort to concentrate on being wise with our spending and saving, each Friday I'm sharing some of our latest frugal efforts or activities here on the blog.
1. Purchased clearance hats and gloves for my kiddos for next winter. Also bought a clearance winter coat for Son. It should fit for the next two winters. Daughter's coat that she has will fit again next year. Yay!
3. It snowed. Alot. So we took advantage of the free activity thrown our way and sent the Kiddos out to play in it. Fun times, completely free and kiddos that thanked us for it! Total win.
4. Took advantage of being house-bound in the snow and made sure to snag lots of extra Swagbucks to cash in for free gift cards!
5. Surveyed the pantry shelves for close expiration dates. Trying really hard to get better at not letting any food go to waste.
2. Sewed a hole in the seam of a shirt for Daughter. I have pretty much zero Sewing skills and certainly don't have a sewing machine. But I can sure rock a cheapo sewing kit for mending here and there :)
