Iphones are like Dysons. They are popular because they are expensive and they are expensive because they are popular

Ok so that isn’t a famous quote from an inspirational preacher, unless you of course class me as inspirational! That was in fact a quote off my twitter feed from several months ago. It received many likes and retweets, along with comments that all tended to agree.

There is no doubt that in recent years, Apple have conquered the Mobile Phone market, amongst other markets. Surely then, if Iphones are so popular, then they must be the best right? Well I’m no tech wizard and I don’t claim to know any more about the latest phones than my 3 year old son. However what I do know about, is money and products. Just because a product is vastly more expensive than another doesn’t automatically make it better. In some cases, it is true that the better products do cost more, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do our research before spending our hard earned cash. Unfortunately, however most of us don’t. We just follow the crowd and assume that the majority know best.

Now I’m not telling you that Iphones aren’t good, because simply put, they are. However, I myself, am not a huge fan and much prefer the Samsung rival. I just prefer the superior camera and the fact that my video’s aren’t locked to some format not known to man or DVD like on the Iphone. My wife however would never trade her Iphone in, no matter how many review’s I could show her. Well for one lost, there are many more that can be saved or enlightened!

Just a simple search on Google for Mobile Phone Reviews brings up reviews galore. When I was looking for my new handset several months ago I did just that and landed on this page. After reading their mobile phone reviews I had pretty much made my mind up. No longer was I to be shackled by the Iphone, and at the same time I saved myself a tidy chunk of money on my monthly contract. A good portion of your monthly contract is actually the cost to buy your phone on a finance deal. After reading their reviews I seemed to spend another thousand man hours searching for more information. Them hours were well spent however as I am now with the phone I should have had a long time ago.

What I am getting at is that there are many things in life that are popular, but if you take the time to read up on reviews, you really can save yourself a packet by not conforming and thus end up with the product you really deserve. If after all of the reviews you still think the more expensive item is better value for money and the item you want, then go for it! At least you’ve now gone for it with your eyes open! Search Google now for mobile phone reviews and see what you discover!

Don’t stop there either! Always use the vast amounts of reviews for pretty much any product or service alike to make the most of your money.
