New year new opportunities

Welcome to my income reports, 2019 was let say not so great year for me mostly due to my offline responsibilities, as a result, the blog suffered a great deal both in traffic and visitors.

Why bother with income reports?

I read a lot of reports from different bloggers and get motivated especially when I feel like giving up and believe me there are a lot of days especially when you feel like you don’t get enough reward for what you put out. So basically if I could inspire just one passionate blogger to push through I will be happy.

What Blogging will not do is

• Make you a millionaire overnight
• Make you famous

I feel like most people start blogging for the wrong reason then get burned out too quickly.

Why did I start blogging?

I started because of most jobs available for the industry that love was not available and self-publishing the route was very expensive (15 years ago) and  I’ve spent of my adult life working mostly as a freelancer.

As you can see I’m struggling with traffic at this point I am happy someone found my

I receive 2460 visitors and close to 6000 pageviews (you have to start somewhere ) something else i did was finally purchasing Tailwind. I’m very late to the tailwind bandwagon but I’m not going to charge it until I use it for at least 12 months.

As you can see it cost more to maintain a blog that what it brings in

I joined media.net after Google banned me last year for the reason unknown. It’s the next big thing but, to be honest, it not doing as well as thought.

My sponsorship was earned from Getblogged, it actually a  great place to start to look for a sponsored post, the only requirements are DA5 and most importantly they pay within 24hrs.

My first full month after the trial ended I haven’t received anything much to speak off, my biggest has been 20 so far. I’m playing monthly so I can only schedule 400 at the time.

I used to have the premium version but had to cancel it as I was mostly offline last year and i was paying for the product I was not using but as time goes there might be a need for an upgrade again.

February expectations

• Publish at least four posts
• Pinterest followers of 20 or more I correctly 213 followers
• Publish more on Instagram
• 10000 page views…I know I’m pushing it
