Disney Memory Maker

Disney Memory Maker

Hey friends! If you are going to Disney World anytime soon, check into getting the Disney Memory Maker.  This is another Disney World App that will make your trip so much better.  A pretty awesome new way to enjoy unlimited digital photos taken at multiple locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. This includes select attractions and dining locations. Also, you don’t have to worry about bringing a camera!  Your photos are then conveniently linked to your online Disney account via your MagicBand.  Below are my Disney Memory Maker Tips that will make your experience at Disney more exciting and memorable. The price is $169.00 in advance or $199.00 day of.

What makes Disney Memory Maker Awesome?

With just one purchase of the Memory Maker, you get all the Disney PhotoPass photos of everyone in your travel party.  Which means you can split the cost of the Memory Maker.  Only one person needs to have it for all to share.  In the end, this is a huge saving for your party, plus you get all the cool extras: Digital boarders, Stickers, Videos, etc.   The Disney Photo Pass photographers are all over the park, and you can even see where they are by using your My Disney Experience Mobile App. Cool Beans!

If you are thinking, but my phone has apps for stickers and photo boarders big deal. Why else should I get the Memory Maker?  Well, true you can have a photo app do that and just use your phone. However, the Disney Memory Maker also adds videos and other creative bits to your pictures that only the Memory Maker app has.  In addition, every person in your party has access to using the Memory Maker. So if Billy wants to ride Thunder Mountain and Ashley wants to go see Cinderella; it can happen at the same time! Both ride’s photographers will take their pictures and download the pics via their MagicBand.  Plus if the photo pass photographers know you have Memory Maker they will take more time with you and do creative fun shots like below~

How do I view my Memory Maker photos?

You can view your photos on MyDisneyPhotoPass.com and on the My Disney Experience Mobile App!  If you purchased Memory Maker in the park, you may need to link it to your Disney account before you can begin downloading photos. Also, you need to link any MagicBands or cards that you used at the Disney PhotoPass locations to view and download your photos.  If you purchased Disney’s Memory Maker in advance, photos taken within 3 days of the date of purchase will not be included in Disney’s Memory Maker and must be purchased separately. To allow others to view the images in your Disney PhotoPass account, sign in to your Disney account and set photo sharing permissions using your Family & Friends list.  On your Family & Friends list, locate the Guest you want to share your photos with and select “Edit” to access the photo sharing control. So, I would purchase more than 3 days in advance and sync my party up with the mobile app.

How do I download my Memory Maker photos?

You can download your Memory Maker photos right away through MyDisneyPhotopass.com and on the My Disney Experience app.  Or you can wait until you get home and download them all at once. I did this and saved it to a thumb drive.

How long will Memory Maker photos be available on my Disney account?

All photos, videos and any other media in your account are subject to the Disney PhotoPass Expiration Policy and currently expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken.
