Yesterday, Spencer received his favorite package! We got an awesome care package from our friends at A Ginger Kid. This is a brand new company that just launched a week ago. Their Toys are made out of heirloom wood and they are outstanding quality toys. I love that they have toys that stimulate Spencer’s mind. We got 3 different sets in our care package and we love them all!
The first set was the Motoring Along set, and I love that it teaches him how to solve problems. It is a lace up puzzle set, and it currently retails on their website for $16.00. It includes 4 different puzzles for Spencer to figure out, so he won’t be bored any time soon!
The second set was the Farmers market set, which included several different fruits and veggies that Spencer can pretend to cut in half with the provided (Wooden) Knife and cutting board. I love that he can pretend to help me in the kitchen by cutting his own fruits and veggies! This set also retails for $16.00 on their website.
The last set we received was the Little Fingers set, which includes a base with different kinds of puzzle sliders, and different shapes that go on each puzzle slider. He can use this set the most right now since he is still a little young! He is so intrigued by this and it really makes him think. He loves when he can get the shapes to the bottom of the slider and he gets so excited! This retails on their website for $16.00 as well.
Overall, I am so glad that A Ginger Kid sent us all of these awesome toys! They are super durable, and I love the look and feel of wooden toys. I think it really takes you back to the older generation, where we had more toys that were made like this. In a generation of all kinds of technology, it is so nice to be able to find more simple toys like this that will not only be fun to play with, but also help our children learn problem solving skills. The shipping time was quick, and the bags that each toy set comes in is so nice and keeps the toys from getting mixed up in your childs toy box. Seriously guys, go check them out!
