Why Am I Not Making Money Online? | ecommHow to Build Trust with Readers

In this article, I am going to answer questions you may have on your mind such as: “Why am I not making money online” and “Why isn’t my website converting?”
Have your heart and soul into your blog, putting in all the time and work you feel will be the turning point? Let me guess—you're still not making any money? Don't feel bad, you're alone—there's others dealing with the same problem. It can make the best of us feel hopeless and confused.
In order to make money or conversions with your blog, you have to understand the fundamentals of how making money online works and how it can work for you.
Today I am going to teach what those fundamentals are and provide you the tools you can use to fix it.
Building a Relationship with your Readership
The first crucial step you need to take is to build an honest relationship with your readers. One of the biggest mistakes with budding online marketers is that they don't build a strong relationship with their audience or they simple don't know how to.
Creating a blog with random blogs related to your niche is not going to make you money. If that's what you've been doing or thinking—you're mistaken. Placing affiliate banners on your blog in hopes that visitors will click on them and make a purchase or sign up, this won't work either. The reason this doesn't work? Even if people do click on your banners, the traffic won't convert because the traffic is cold. By now, are you out of ideas to make money on your website? If so, remember—In order to make money, your blog needs to build a relationship with the people that are viewing it.
Building Trust with Readers Through Email Marketing
One of the easiest Ways to build trust with your readers is through Email Marketing. Email marketing helps build trust because people read their Emails. When a reader receives regular, high-quality emails they like, they will grow to trust you.
Millionaire affiliate marketer Mark Ling taught me inAffiloJetpackthat the way he was able to double his income was by simply getting rid of banners on his website and replacing them opt-in forms. So to do this, replace your banners with email newsletter opt-in forms. You can also use opt-in freebies to encourage your readers to sign up. Here's and EXAMPLE: In AffiloJetpack, Mark Ling provides you with a 49-page ebook—"How to Make Super Affiliate Commissions"—to give as opt-in bait for internet marketing websites. When readers get more than they expected, their trust will grow. Are you starting to see how this works?
Writing Emails that Build Trust
So how do you write emails that build trust with your readers? To build trust, readers need to know and feel that you care about them. Sending too many hard-sell emails, will end up making readers feel used. Hard-sell emails don't provide high-quality content that's valuable to your reader. Hard-sell emails are to put plain and simple are written to promote a product—that's it!
The next time you decide to send out a hard-sell email, stop yourself and make sure that's not the only type of emails you're sending your readers.  For every 1-2 hard-sell emails, send 3-4 soft-sell emails first. This builds a relationship. To put it in simple terms—soft-sell emails are basically high-quality articles emailed directly to your readers, that includes a brief product recommendation at the beginning and end.
Need an example? In AffiloJetpack, Mark Ling's year-long email auto-responder sequences have 3-4 soft-sell emails for each 1-2 hard-sell emails he sends. When readers receive quality emails prior to being directly marketed too, they'll be less skeptical because you have proved you know about the niche.
So here are the key points to remember if you want to start making money with your blog:
