It seems like my three-year-old son turned into a "picky eater" overnight. One day, he loves eating and trying anything and everything—the next day I can't get him to eat any of it. My husband and I were very confused to say the least. It's concerning when your little one doesn't like any of the Healthy Foods he once liked and turns into a junk Food junkie (for a lack of better words). It can be quite annoying when you watch your child repeatedly scrunch their face up (you know the face I'm talking about) and rolling their tongue out to form a slippin' slide exit for their half chewed up food. You can't force them to eat the healthy foods you present to them (well, I guess you can, but you'll probably end up with a "pukey" mess—eewww, no thanks!)
So what the heck can you do? I mean seriously!? Since we want our kids to eat healthy, sometimes we have to resort to time consuming measures in a hopeful attempt, to get them to eat these foods. So we take the time to cut their food up into mini finger foods and sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. It can be very frustrating when it comes to our little picky eaters, because let's face it—it takes time that we don't often have. So, the next time we're short on time we say "the heck with it!" and as much as we really don't want to, we end up grabbing frozen or processed foods that always seem to be so conveniently available these days—UGH!
It can definitely be a big challenge trying to figure out what exactly our kids will find appealing enough to eat. Research shows that the foods that children eat from birth to three-years-old, is a major determining factor to what they'll like or dislike for the rest of their life. So it's important to cultivate their taste buds for healthy foods at a young age.
Kids will be kids, but there's no doubt that kids go for fun looking foods. So when we make healthy foods more fun for our kids, we're creating an enjoyable experience—that's howFunBitesfits perfectly into this dilemma!
FunBites provides parents with a simple solution when using their super easy hand-held food Cutter.
As seen onABC's Shark Tank, this award winning food cutter creates perfect bite-sized fun shapes that kids love! It makes healthy foods fun to eat for those of us with picky eaters. For once we don't have to yell at our kids for playing with their food!
When I first opened ourFunBitesMinions Limited Edition Goggle Shaped Food Cutter Set, I could tell that the cutter was made out of high-quality material and I could tell just by the weight of it, how strong and durable it was. The cutter has nice gripping handles. It consists of two pieces: a curved cutter with nice gripping handles and matching popper top which helps push the food through and out of the cutter, making this product super user-friendly. I also love that their product is BPA free and dishwasher safe!
Even their packaging is adorable and fun! It's very inviting to kids!
This is what it looks like when you have the popper top completely inserted into the cutter.
Both my son and I both tried and successfully used the cutter and we had a great time too. You can see in the pictures below, how easy it actually is to use a FunBites cutter.
