I was waiting for this for so long. And when I finally did get to Cruise on the backwaters of Kerala, it was super duper cool. We took the route from Alleppey to Kollam. Villagers who stay at the backwaters do everything by boat. Their daily shopping, school, farming, fishing and even weddings! Fascinating. I also wore a 'lungi' for the first time. I slept in my houseboat under the open sky and cool breeze from the backwaters.
