My Baby's First Swim with Swimava

One of my greatest frustrations in life is that I cannot Swim... See, I wanted to learn but I've never gotten over the fear of my head being submerged. Anyway, this is why I want my daughter to learn swimming at an early age.
We brought her to the beach last February (she was about 4 months old). The water was cold so we just dipped her legs a little. She didn't fuss which was good.
We went to a different resort again in May (in celebration of Mother's Day and my parents' wedding anniversary) so I've decided to get something for my Baby to start learning how to swim.
Ordering this online was easy breezy (click here to visit the website). Plus, they ship really fast! Got my baby's neck float in just 2 days. There are plenty of designs to choose from but I got this one so it's unisex.
I first found out about this from my schoolmate who brought her daughter to a Baby Spa in Singapore. Check out the video of the babies enjoying their first swim here. They're so adorable :)
My baby girl was so calm while we were in the water with her. She was just being her cute self (note: I was just a few inches away from her, her grandfather took this photo).
We also got her Babiators to protect her eyes from the sun. Her papa is a licensed diver so I wasn't scared to let her swim in the adult pool with him.
Right after the swim, our daughter got so sleepy and we were stressing because we couldn't find her pacifier (we use pacifiers while she naps in between feeding time to make sure she has a good nap and previously, to help prevent SIDS). Would have been easier to find if we had this pacifier holder before (so glad we have several now! haha)
Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we're so glad to have discovered Swimava! She can move her arms and legs freely so she wasn't annoyed nor scared at all. We're bring this with us when we travel to US next month (going for another adventure! Weee)
