Ok, you are in shape, look stunning and you are jetting off to your dream location. You’ve worked so hard to achieve your amazing body. Here are a few Holiday Fitness Tips that will keep you looking fabulous and feeling confident, while still enjoying a treat or two on your holiday.
Plan Activities into Every Day
Strut your stuff ladies along the beach or in a park for just fifteen minutes, it burns up to one hundred calories! Schedule this in after breakfast or lunch, or maybe both! Quick, easy and very effective. Do it daily for maximum effect.
Check to see if your hotel/resort has a gym? Having Fitness facilities at your chosen venue just makes it that much easier to schedule into your day. Hit the gym early morning for light to medium level aerobic cardio, after a cup of coffee or tea, will accelerate fat metabolism and further improve your body’s ability to get rid of any toxins.
Explore New Activities
Holidays are an opportunity to explore and try activities. Rope the family into a paddle boarding session or river canoeing. Try your hand at some beach volleyball or maybe salsa dancing for a sexy way to burn those calories. Elevating your heart rate while having fun is good for you!
Alcohol is not your friend!
I totally get that you’re on vacation and enjoying your favourite drink pool side is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Remember that one cocktail can contain an astonishing 700 calories! Instead of cocktails loaded with sugar, choose low-calorie drinks like a white-wine spritzer, light beer, flavoured vodka with club soda or tequila on the rocks with lime.

Watch those Calories!
I appreciate you’re on holiday, but rather than an eating entire slice of cheesecake, just have a bite or two to satisfy your sweet tooth.
