Spring has sprung, and I’ve been on a huge cleaning kick this month! It feels so good to get rid of all of the stuff that’s just been collecting dust and taking up space in my house. My house is only 963 square feet, so it’s not really all that big, and we don’t have a lot of storage room. I was starting to feel so overwhelmed by everything that we have collected over the past few years, that just ended up being stuffed into a closet, or tossed on my bedroom floor, or stored in the garage or basement. After getting rid of several bags and boxes full of clothes and toys, taking the bottles to the redemption center and recycling all of our card board, our house just feels so much more comfortable!

Now that I’ve cleared out a bunch of space in my house, I thought it was a good time to stock up on some of the household items I use the most. During the month of April, Walmart is having an awesome Stock Up & Save Event, so the timing was really perfect. I do most of my grocery shopping at Walmart anyway, as I love their Savings Catcher program, so I added a few extra items to my cart this week.

I always like to keep a good amount of tissue paper and paper towels on hand, so I grabbed a Charmin Ultra Strong 36 Double-Roll Pack and a Bounty Select-A-Size 12-Pack Mega Roll.

Now I’m stocked up for quite a while! I also grabbed a huge bottle of Dawn original dish detergent. It’s my absolute favorite detergent, and now I won’t run out for a long time.

I also picked up a double pack of Febreze Air Effects to keep my house smelling nice and fresh this spring.

Finally, I grabbed a tube of Crest Pro-Health Advanced Toothpaste.
