Turkey, Cheddar & Apple Crescent Roll Recipe

Thanks to Hannaford for sponsoring this Turkey, Cheddar & Apple Crescent Roll recipe post. All opinions are 100% my own.

Back to school season is in full swing, and with the holidays just around the corner, now is a perfect time for busy parents to find quick and easy dinner ideas that are affordable too.

Hannaford’s everyday low prices and quality brands can help save both time and money. With their wide selection of Hannaford Brand products, it’s easy to create a fun and delicious meal that the whole family will love, even if you are on a tight budget.

I know I’m going to be very busy over the next few months, so I recently stocked up on a large assortment of Hannaford brand products. To make things even easier, I used their to-go service (available at select Hannaford locations) and was able to place my order online and pick my groceries up without even leaving my car! As a Mom of two kids, this is such a huge time-saver for me.

One of my family’s favorite meals starts with Hannaford brand Crescent Rolls, so I purchased quite a few packages of them. I love how quick and easy they are to bake (ready in just 11-13 minutes!) and how versatile they are. You can stuff these crescent rolls with pretty much anything your heart desires before baking them, to create something absolutely wonderful!

For tonight’s dinner, I filled the crescent rolls with thin sliced roasted turkey breast, shredded cheddar cheese and thin apple slices. After they were done baking, I paired our tasty crescent rolls with a delicious honey mustard dipping sauce. The flavors all worked together so wonderfully, and my family really enjoyed them.

To make these Turkey, Cheddar & Apple Crescent Rolls, simply separate the crescent rolls and lay them out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place a rolled up slice of turkey, a tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese and thin sliced apples on top.

Then, roll them up and bake them in the oven at 375 degrees for 11-13 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

So yummy!

The honey mustard dipping sauce is just a 50/50 mix of Hannaford brand honey mustard and mayonnaise.

Add some Hannaford brand sweet potato fries to complete this easy, delicious and affordable meal!

My kids gobbled these right up!

I like to switch this Turkey, Cheddar & Apple Crescent Roll recipe up and elevate it even further by adding different flavors to it. Some of my favorite additions are maple bacon, carmelized onions and apricot preserves. Play around with different flavors and find your family’s favorite combinations!

Hannaford’s affordable products make it easy to please everyone in the family. From canned and dry goods to dairy and frozen, they are made from the best ingredients and always the lowest prices on the shelf! When you’re looking for ingredients to fill your crescent rolls with, don’t forget to shop the perimeter and middle aisles of the store to discover new ingredients that your family will love and fit in your budget.

HONEY MUSTARD DIPPING SAUCE

To make honey mustard dipping sauce, combine 1/4 cup Hannaford brand honey mustard and 1/4 cup Hannaford brand mayonnaise.

OPTIONAL ADDITIONS

Add 1 tablespoon of carmelized onions. Here is a great tutorial for carmelizing onions. It’s a bit time consuming, but so worth it!

Add 1 slice of fully cooked Hannaford brand maple flavored bacon.

Add 1 teaspoon of Hannaford brand apricot preserves.

Crescent rolls filled with thin apple slices dusted in sugar and cinnamon make a quick and easy breakfast that the whole family will love, too!

What amazing flavor combinations would your family make with Hannaford brand ingredients?
