It’s hard to believe the Big Game is just around the corner! Are you ready yet? Being from New England, I must admit I’m a little disappointed that my team won’t make it to the big game this year, but my family and I will still be watching from the comfort of our home.
I’ve been busy filling out my shopping list, which includes lots of food, drinks and a few other things to get our home ready for guests. A few days before the big game arrives, I’ll head out to Walmart to do all of my shopping. It’s just a few minutes from my house, so it’s super convenient. I love that I can find everything I need in one place. I’ll likely have the kids with me when I go, so I don’t want to have to run around to several stores trying to find what I need. I also love shopping at Walmart because I get to use the Walmart Savings Catcher app, which has saved me a lot of money!
One of my favorite things about the big game is all of the yummy food we get to eat! I always make Buffalo Chicken Dip. It’s my husband’s all time favorite, and it’s always a huge hit with guests. While it is delicious, it can also be a bit messy to eat, so we keep Bounty Select-A-Size paper towels on hand to wipe up any messes.
I also like to serve up a big bowl of popcorn, because it’s just so easy, and who doesn’t love to stuff their face full of popcorn while watching tv? The thing about popcorn, though, is once you make it, it makes your house smell like popcorn for quite a long time after. Thank goodness for Febreze Air Effects, which makes my house smell nice and fresh again after just a few sprays.
When having guests over, I always make sure I have plenty of Charmin Ultra Strong Mega Rolls on hand. The last thing I want to do is leave my house while it’s full of guests to run out for more toilet paper!
After the big game is over, I give my favorite team shirt a wash with Tide PODS (Spring Meadow scent) to keep it looking new for a long, long time.
