The holiday season is upon us, and I am so excited! I love getting together with my family to celebrate Christmas. We swap gifts, eat to our heart’s content, share laughter and smiles, and create wonderful memories to last a lifetime.
Our holidays have become even more exciting over the last few years, as my sisters and I have added 5 kids to our family, with another one on the way! Having all those little kids running around certainly makes for some great photo opportunities. I love capturing their smiling faces as they all play with each other and partake in our family traditions.
I like to dress my kids up in holiday attire for our family Christmas gatherings, and Oshkosh B’gosh always has a wonderful selection of festive clothing to choose from. I recently ordered a holiday outfit for my daughter, Kayleigh, and I can’t wait for her to wear it on Christmas day.
We live in Maine, where it gets super cold in the winter months, so I ordered her an outfit that is not only stylish, but would also keep her warm and toasty. These overalls have a good weight to them, and they are very high quality. OshKosh has been selling overalls for a very long time, so I would expect nothing less from them! I figured the overalls would also be really comfortable for her to wear while running around and playing with her cousins.
I always seem to gravitate towards the red and blue color combo, as it’s my favorite, and I think she just looks so adorable in it. I loved this beautiful floral popover poplin top the second I saw it. The colors are so vibrant, and the flowers are dainty and feminine.
I really love the style of this shirt, how it buttons down the front. The lace trim around the neck is also a beautiful touch. It’s a great shirt for dressing up on Christmas day, but it’s also good to wear any other day.
I also like that this shirt can be worn buttoned up to her neck to keep her warm on cold days, or unbuttoned a bit to keep her cool if she gets too warm.
Every girl in Maine has to have a pair of comfortable and stylish boots to keep their feet warm, and I just love these ones. Kayleigh was so excited when she put them on. She kept walking around the house saying “Look at my boots, Mom. Aren’t they pretty?”
I also found this gorgeous Sparkle Fair Isle Cardi to wear over her outfit if she gets cold. I absolutely love the heart pattern. This sweater is made very well, and I know it will hold up well over time.
Kayleigh has a lot of hair, and it can get pretty wild, so I like to put it up in a ponytail to keep it out of her face, especially when she’s running around and playing. It also keeps it from looking crazy in our photos! I found these super cute pony holders that add a nice little touch to her holiday outfit. I love how they sparkle.
