Orchard Fruit Medley Parfait for Babies Learning to Chew

I have two toddlers, so I have been through the whole teaching baby to eat real food thing twice now. I’m the biggest worrier in the world, so of course, teaching my babies how to chew solid food was completely nerve-racking for me. One thing that did make it easier was Gerber Lil’ Bits.

Gerber Lil’ Bits are great because they expose baby to new tastes and textures, without being too much for them to handle. I love that it’s a really slow and gentle way to teach baby how to chew. I also just love the cute little containers they come in that are easy to reseal and stack in the refrigerator.

My son, Logan, is now 18 months old, but he still loves to eat Gerber Lil’ Bits as a fun treat. With fall upon us, I decided to pick up a pack of the Orchard Fruit Medley flavor and make him a tasty parfait. This one included apples, pears and peaches, but there are several other sweet and savory varieties to choose from!

While in the baby aisle at Walmart, I spotted Gerber Vanilla Custard Pudding with Bananas, and I just knew that would work wonderfully with the Lil’ Bits. I also had some vanilla Greek yogurt at home that I added to the parfait as well.

Logan really seemed to love the combination of the delicious fruit, pudding and Greek yogurt. He devoured it!
