Every year, towards the end of the summer, I start looking on Pinterest for ideas for our little Fall celebration. I talk to the kids about what Movie, as we tend to watch The Ghost and Mr. Chicken later in the month now, and they are more into scary stuff these days. There was a time when Mr. Chicken caused our bed to fill up with littles in the middle of the night, but those times are past now and The Blair Witch Project was the movie of choice. With that in mind, a forest theme was in store. I found some fun stuff on Pinterest over the last couple of months, and set out to gather all I needed for a fun, fall inspired day…even though it was around 90 degrees and 70 % humidity. Blah. Decorating my house for Halloween time with that kind of heat is sort of a bummer, but a cool front is on the way, babies! After dinner, the Blair Witch Project was vetoed by #6, and she picked Beetlejuice instead. The bigger kids had college work to do so it was just Mia, her friend, Bill and I for the movie. Much more Bill’s speed as he hates horror movies. The times they are a changing, but I will always plan this day and enjoy it. like I have for years. Happy Fall to you all!
