Key concerns include the ability of these walkers to pass through standard doorways, lacking mechanisms to halt at step edges, and featuring leg openings that can lead to a child slipping down, potentially resulting in head entrapment.
The seller, All Merchandise, based in Charlotte, N.C., has ceased operations, leaving no recourse for affected consumers. If you’ve purchased this product, expect to receive a direct notice from CPSC.
Sold online at Amazon.com between October 2022 and March 2023, these infant walkers, priced around $100, boast adjustable height settings, a teal or pink frame, a gray seat and tray with toy attachments, and a push handle. Look for “Comfi Baby” printed on the handle and frame, with the letter “M” on the front frame and “Babywalker” stitched on the seat back.
