The Importance of Taking Vacations

Vacations are a time to refresh and renew. And, I highly recommend that you take the time to take one, even in these inflationary times! I recently traveled to Jamaica. I recognize that’s a luxury that not everyone can avail themselves of. However, we all have friends. If you can’t afford to take a Vacation, visit a friend for a couple of days for a change of scenery, preferably, a friend with a pool!

Do Yourself a Favor, Take a Vacation

I don’t know about you. However, whenever I am at a pool, I feel like I am on vacation. During the pandemic, my parents pool was my saving grace. It gave me and my kids a respite from life’s drudgery and  was so much fun!

So, if you didn't get away when the kids were out of school, it is not too late! Don't listen to the naysayers, it is not too late to take a family vacation! In these last days of summer and even into early fall (climate change makes is possible), take advantage of a long weekend and get away for a change of scenery. Leaving home will clear your head, lift your spirits and allow you to reconnect with your family.

Just do it!

You can thank me later!
