Chinese New Year is right around the corner, so what better time to share some yummy Asian-themed foods? Personally, I love Chinese food and simply cannot get enough Chinese takeout. The mix of delicious sauces, vegetables, and proteins delights my taste buds. While much of what we consider Chinese food in the United States has been modified from its roots, its popularity is undeniable. Add in the many wonderful dishes from other countries in eastern Asia and you have a flavor powerhouse.
Making great Asian food at home can seem intimidating, but so many of your favorite takeout dishes are within reach. Plus, many of these dishes bring with them a great deal of flexibility. Missing the vegetable? Swap in a different one. Prefer a different protein? Also, a fairly easy switch. Here are some of our favorites.
