Menu Plan – Week of July 10

One lesson I’ve learned from trying to be an innovative parent is the importance of meal Planning. It makes shopping and prepping easier and sometimes cuts down on how many times I’m asked what’s for dinner (we post the Menu on the fridge and put it in our Google calendar).

Here’s what I’m planning for dinner this week. We’ve got the kids (mostly) planning their own breakfasts and lunches.

Sunday
Shabbat leftovers

Monday
Blintz soufflé,
Shakshuka – we transfer the shakshuka sauce to a frying pan and add the eggs at that point. It allows us to squeeze a few more eggs in and still get that yummy taste.

Tuesday
Tortellini
Ragu & polenta

Wednesday
Fish sticks
Tuna steaks
Fries
Roast veggies

Thursday
Pizza – we swap in 1 cup of whole wheat flour to make it a little healthier.

Friday
Meatballs
Eggplant Israeli cous cous
Roast veggies

Saturday
Cholent
Deli meat
Potato kugel
Salads
