As I had been walking for the past hour on the lonely road without anyone passing by. I noticed headlights coming towards me in the distance. This stretch of road is usually pretty deserted. As the headlights came nearer, I could suddenly hear someone say “Hide or they will get you”. That’s strange I thought since I am alone as I usually am on these walks. As the lights were almost upon me, I noticed out of the corner of my eye something faintly glowing beside me. “Hide or they will get you!” it said louder. Not knowing what to do I just kept walking as the car passed and I was once again in the dark, the figure not beside me anymore. I see ahead of me, just barely, three figures coming toward me. I hear the voice one last time ” Its too late, they will get you just as they got me”.
