According to the mainstream media no it hasn’t. That doesn’t mean it actually hasn’t. The media keeps quiet on quite a lot of things.
If first contact hasn’t been officially covered by the media has it happened and we won’t know til well after the fact? Secrets do come out these days quite regularly, so maybe some day we will finally be a society where the government is totally transparent. Don’t hold your breath though.

Eisenhower was said to meet with aliens. There are quite a few cultures that say they met those from the stars. Why keep it secret if it is true? As long as we aren’t a galactic zoo everything should be fine.
In all the universe there must be some other species that want to share with others. Of course, they hopefully wouldn’t bombard us with everything when first contact is made. We are a pretty simple civilization. We do have a long way to go.
If we are viewed as children by other civilizations, maybe first contact hasn’t been made. I would like to think we will figure that out before it is too late.
