Kazakhstan is a land of low lying plains to mountainous regions. From it’s desert areas to beautiful steppes, you will love the view wherever you end up. 

Speaking of views, there are some odd ones in the skies if you ever find yourself out and about the majestic landscape.

Here are a few:

Almaty – April 1915 – A fireball was seen for about 20 minutes. That is kind of a long time for a meteor, but if it wasn’t one, what was it?

Shacktinsk – June 1975 – A cigar shaped craft was spotted, but this one was different than your normal cigar sighting. It looked to be made of massive metal rods with the front shaped like a cone of spikes. The sighting lasted maybe 10 seconds. I would have loved to have seen that.

Chimkent – July 1987 – Three cigar shaped craft were seen for about thirty minutes. They had an orange glow. After awhile two of them merged. What a great sighting that was. That would have been cool to watch.

Petropavlovsk – August 2014 – A flash was seen shooting up from the ground. No thunderstorms or anything going on in the area. A little while later, a red/orange glowing thing was spotted. Was it the cause of the flash? Pretty odd.
Almaty – October 2008 – Ten to twelve lights were seen in formation. They broke formation and moved away at high speed.

Astana – July 2015 – A craft of uncertain shape was seen for about 20 minutes. I guess that could have been anything. But you never know.

Karaganda – June 1995 – A triangle was seen for about 10 minutes. They tend to hover in reports of them, then speed off. Nice sigjting.

Astana – July 2017 – A cigar shaped craft was seen for a few minutes. It was stationary then started moving away. I wonder if it started moving because there were witnesses around. Cigar shaped ones have been seen for quite a long time.
