Cemetery Bigfoot

Another phenomenon I investigate and research is ghosts. There are many stories people tell of haunted cemeteries. It leaves me wondering if perhaps sometimes that "ghost" may be a bigfoot.

For example, Stan Gordon's organization received around a dozen reports during the summer of 1972 of gorilla-like creatures being sighted around a cemetery. This particular graveyard at the time was surrounded by dense woods and was located about 2 miles outside of Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

The creatures were described as 5 feet tall, covered in hair, and much broader than a human. Complaints were made to the police of a "night prowler" that made sounds "like a man in pain screaming at the top of his lungs".
Dark figures that roam the night and the Cemetery, screaming? Bigfoot or ghost?

Then we have the woman attending a grave in a cemetery near Youngstown, Pennsylvania one evening when she was overcome by a powerful stench of rotten eggs. She looked up only to see a large, hairy apelike creature. It walked out of the woods towards her small child that was wandering about 30 feet from her. The woman ran quickly, snatching up her child, and ran for her father's house, a distance of 5 miles. The story goes on to claim an hour or so later, other people saw the same or a similar creature peering around the corner of the house.

Odd smells, mysterious figures walking towards visitors in a cemetery. Ghostly presence bringing the fires of hell? Or bigfoot?

In August of 1962, a group of young people told of seeing something in a Native American graveyard at Blue Clay Springs, near Richmond, Indiana. They described it as being a 7-foot-tall creature "made like an ape with long arms". It stood on two feet but ran away on all fours. They further claimed the creature was covered in white hair and had four toes all the same size and length and its eyes shone red when the lights were on them.

White, with glowing eyes. Bigfoot, or ghost?

In 2010 investigator Stan Courtney was invited by members of Ghost Magnet to help research a small cemetery in Shelby County, Illinois. He listened to their reports of experiencing at various times wood knocks, logs being thrown, screams, whistles, yells, voices, drumming, small objects being thrown at people, and bluff charges.

All of these actions have been attributed to both bigfoot and ghosts. Which is here in this area? Or are both in this cemetery?

There are some theories out there on why bigfoot would hang out at a cemetery.

1. It's quiet, away from people and traffic, especially at night.
2. Deer feed at night in cemeteries. A bigfoot can hunt them without human interference.
3. Bigfoot will take advantage of the isolation of a cemetery to hunt the rodents living there.
4. Bigfoot itself is a spirit.
