What you saw:

I had been asleep and woke up, not unusual for me, to go to the bathroom. When I came back, my dog was also prancing around letting me know, he needed to go too. So I prepared him to go to the bathroom by putting his lead on him.

 

Being picky as he is, he had taken his time finding just the perfect spot to go, I was standing there holding his lead, and out of my left eye periphery, I saw 2 white lights coming overhead of where I was. The lights were side by side and when it got closer I could tell it was 1 vehicle with 2 lights. Having worked around aviation as a kid, I learned planes to some degree, so I looked for navigation lights. There were none. The moon was bright enough that I could see this vehicle without any extra light other than what was being cast by the dusk til dawn light behind the house. This Craft maneuvered toward me at a slow pace, so I'm still thinking airplane. Small, single-engine. This is when I noticed it made no sound and to add to the strangeness there was another craft behind the first one, running blacked out.

The first craft with the lights, when it reached just above me, came to a dead stop, in mid-air as I stood there looking at it about 75' high and maybe 60' away. The second was slightly above and forward of the first one, but it stopped as well. There was no sound of an engine, a prop, a jet, or any form of propulsion we are familiar with, it was silent. It stayed in the spot it stopped for about a minute and a half and I got a clear and extended look at something I cannot identify. It also occurred to me that it was watching me as well. The description of the 2 vehicles was the same. I estimate the length at around 25 feet and approximately 12 wide. Solid white in color, no nav lights, dark glass (?), and a high tail on the back. I am not completely convinced that it is or isn't military, all I know is this is what I saw. Both crafts cleared out about the same speed they came in on and seemed to be in no particular hurry. There were no lettering, insignias, or distinguishing factors as to whom it may have belonged to. Was it extraterrestrial? I don't know. Was it military? I don't know. Whatever it was, I'm just glad I got to see it. I will attempt to hand draw what I saw as close as I can.
