So people know, I am a trained forensic interviewer and Licensed Private Investigator. I am used to listening to people, and if I don’t understand something, I ask for clarification. People do not talk in riddles to me. I make statements and ask questions to validate what they say to me. If you listen to Russell he has gone from the "they misconstrued it line," to the "their lying line." One person misconstruing it, believable. Two…not so much. You learn that as an investigator. I am hedging a bet that the misconstrued folks number is going to be greater than 2 by the end of next week. Usually works that way.
Next, let me make it clear it was not me who leaked this information and dropped my name, causing my life to be quite hectic with my phone blowing up. It was Rictor Riolo on Reddit Wednesday night. I would not be saying anything if that did not happen. One because I did not hear the “confession” personally and two, I gave my word.
First of all, I don’t lie. Just look at 2008. Second I don’t accuse people without evidence or direct knowledge… again just look at 2008.
Russell can say what he wants. I am not lying. Quite the contrary. More matter to the fact, I wouldn’t have said anything if my name wasn’t thrown out there. I would rather just mind my own business much of the time unless someone is trying to sham the community.
Rictor had told me about this alleged confession months earlier, perhaps in 2019. Truthfully I didn’t want to believe it and put it out of my head…until that is Russell told me. I was devastated and expressed such to my girlfriend, and people saw me back off my support of the PG Film from a full defender, to “on the fence.”
Fact is I was told something very similar to what Rictor had said by Russell, and there was a conversation that followed on how it could "devastate the Bigfoot community." How Bob is a great guy and the reason why he wanted to wait till he puts it out there. He doesn’t want to let people who look up to him down. He didn’t contrive it he was just there. (Russell’s excuse? Who the hell would care after a guy is deceased about misgivings with people in the community..I’m sure the guy has some. Sounds kind of weak for a wait till a guy passes type of tell all.)
About six months before Russell plopped that on me in a conversation we had after our Debunking the Massacre Show, which both Russell and Rictor were on, Rictor had told me about Russell admitting to this "confession." I didn’t believe it, or want to believe it. The after the show in talking to Russell he tells me. I was devastated for a few days, telling my girlfriend… after the call.
I defend the truth. Now the reason why I did not say this in the first place way back when, is because I did not hear this "confession" myself. It’s hearsay. I gave my word to keep it between Russell and myself. It was supposed to eventually come out.. so I would wait not my story to tell. As far as there being a video… I don’t recall that in the conversation. I thought to myself a couple of things after Russell and I’s conversation.
How we he back up his claim? People will call him a liar saying that he defaming a dead man and playing it like we say Bob Heironimus was…trying to get fame saying it was a hoax.
What kind of guy would act as an agent of a guy who he knowingly is booking to tell a phony story? (Maybe the same guy who goes on a phoney show claiming it to be real?)
Now Rictor went off, and dropped the cat out of bag, (drops my name too… tsk tsk) and here we are. Email, phone, texts, IM’s blowing my phone up all day. Did I want to be here no? But I am not going to lie. People expect the truth from me. (Tenet #3) So here it is.
Now does that mean the PG film is fake? Nope. I’m on the fence on the film. There have been some issues that have raised doubts in my mind, but none that would debunk it. Conversely there are some things about the film that impress me and make me think how can this not be real?
Mind you in 2006 I defended the film against it’s critics, Kal Korf and Rob McConnell on the X-Zone Radio show. Kind of the Coast 2 Cost of Canada. I was a fervent defender of the film. In early 2020, I used #IStandWithBob over the whole MK Davis Massacre nonsense. Had Bob and Russell on the YouTube Channel. Days after the phone call happened, apparently Russell considering me a friend to him and Bob over my stand against the massacre nonsense and possibly endeared me a bit to him to tell me this "confession" perhaps to let me down easy about the "real truth." Or was it perhaps for other reasons?
For all I know Russell could have been telling the truth then and is now lying because that cat’s out of the bag…OR… Russell could have been lying then to plant the seeds of doubt for a grand reveal when Bob passes to keep the dollars rolling…OR… maybe it was the truth and he decided against it…OR…maybe it was a guy trying to make himself the "big man on campus." I simply don’t know what the motive is or was. My heart is on obviously that the who confession thing is made up. Given the penchant for lies this evening by Russell I would dare say I’m leaning towards it.
But it WAS said and subsequent conversation followed. No misconstruing anything.
I had a PM chat with Russell tonight, which was very odd.
He had told me I was full of BS. That what he was talking about was this and that. I replied, ‘" telling me I was full of BS, WAS BS." That if he recalls our conversation and some of the specifics mentioned earlier.
He responds by not addressing any of it, and going off on how Rictor misunderstood this and that and was twisting things. But no mention of my grievances about what he had said to me.
The final exchange…
Me: “…And the bottom line is, it comes down to you either being a man about it and fessing up to the truth, or it won’t look good…”
Russell: "I have nothing else to add here. I told you the truth, that’s all I have"
Well that’s pretty ambiguous…told as opposed to telling? Told me the truth about what exactly???
Again, I am not saying the “confession” happened… that would be hearsay. I am just stating what I was told by a person allegedly taking the confession.
Either way, there have been Bigfoot sightings before the PG film and well after, by legitimate, authentic witnesses. The phenomena IS real. So after realizing this after a few days of pondering after what Russell had told me, I kept on trucking.
