VNCfluid organizes and structures the task flow

Zug, Switzerland, May 16, 2023 – VNCfluid, a dynamic dashboard, brings transparency to communication and collaboration channels, prioritizes tasks and automatically warns of critical deadlines. Thanks to the fluid principle, each employee can determine and design the work interface that best suits him or her.

For many employees, the day has far too few working hours. This is often due to the far too many tasks that need to be completed. Often enough, however, it is also the lack of support from clever tools that help to separate the important from the less important, to prioritize accordingly, to make the scope of work transparent and to structure it in a meaningful way. This is exactly the job that Vncfluid now does. VNC, leading developer of open source based enterprise applications, introduces this module as a central dynamic dashboard for its VNClagoon communication and collaboration software stack.

All communication and collaboration channels converge in VNCfluid. VNCfluid searches, filters, sorts and organizes tickets, tasks, channels and e-mails, displays them clearly in the dashboard and automatically notifies users of critical timing via the notification center. At the same time, all function modules of VNClagoon are directly accessible. Applications such as VNCmail, VNCtask, VNCtalk, VNCcalendar or VNCproject can be started with a click from VNCfluid to send an email, update the task list or invite to a video conference. The Action Wheel for central control can also be used from VNCfluid.

The name “fluid” describes the principle of free dynamic design of the desktop, which can be adapted to one’s own preferences and changed at any time. Thus, VNCfluid is also a new option for starting to work with VNClagoon. In the future, it will be possible to integrate further assets into VNCfluid, such as a whiteboard or meta information (sticky notes). The next step will soon be the introduction of a function module that will take the fluid principle beyond the individual workplace organization and make it practicable for joint work in teams.

“We have to do everything we can to make work easier, more efficient and more creative,” emphasizes Andrea Wörrlein, Managing Director of VNC in Berlin and Board Member of VNC AG in Zug. “VNCfluid gives each employee the freedom to choose the optimal design of his or her digital workspace, which is completely unique to them. Motivation, job satisfaction and work results benefit equally.”

Everything important at a glance – VNCfluid organizes the workflow for the day.

The desktop can be freely designed in VNCfluid and changed at any time.
