It’s already the end of July and what a great year we have had here at makingbigcashonline.com .

I have  worked online for 5 years off and on doing affiliate marketing but finally took the big leap full-time in January.

I secured a couple clients with my Social Media management service. So I have been very busy doing that five hours a day and concentrating on this blog the other five. Yep 10 hours a day

Today I’m going to blog about what’s happening in the blogosphere. I will call it “16 Stats to Help Improve Strategy in 2016”.

The art of blogging and the use of Social media are showing no signs of slowing down as the world embraces the power and freedom experienced online.

To help us understand what’s really happening in 2016 there are a few kind hardworking people who spend the time and money to do the research to find out who’s blogging how,when and why.

Thanks to them I’m able to compile this post and reveal some very interesting facts about blogging and social media and their impact.

So here are some incredible statistics that show what’s really happening in the blogosphere in 2016.

1.Blogs have been rated as the 5th most trusted source for accurate online information. In the early days,blogs weren’t taken very seriously. However in 2016 they are viewed as one of the most valuable and credible sources of information

2.Blog articles with images get 94% more views. Including an image with your blog post used to be a recommendation. In 2016 it’s mandatory and the 94% proves why.

3.The average word count of top-ranking content in Google is between 1,140 –1,285 words.

Blogging continues to get more competitive and Google favors in-depth content that provides a ton of value over short blog post that used to be normal.

4.Google gets over 100 billion searches a month more than half of those searches are from mobile devices.

Guys to leave the best impression on people,your website and blog needs to be more-mobile friendly,because mobile use is only going to increase.

5.More bloggers reported publishing on a daily basis in 2015,compared to 2014,the majority of bloggers (66%) are still publishing less than daily but more than monthly.

Daily blogging isn’t ideal for all businesses but you should be publishing content weekly to maximize your potential.

Publishing more frequently my friends will not only boost your traffic but be a huge difference maker.

6.Only 6% of bloggers publish the majority of their original content as guest posts.

You want your brand’s website to be the central or most important hub for all your marketing efforts. Guys don’t try to build somebody else’s brand up boggers are increasing their use of paid ads (93% over the past year) to drive traffic to their posts.

Paid promotions get more eyes on your content in a short amount of time. (more eyes =more money).

8.Companies who blog receive 97%  more links to their website.Everytime an authority website links to a blog post your entire website reaps SEO benefits. Attracting links guys is much easier with high quality content.

9.94% of people who share posts to do because they think it might be helpful to others. If your blog content isn’t helpful guys don’t be surprised if it doesn’t get shared.

10.Facebook is still No.1 despite what you may have heard. Facebook has 1.65 billion Monthly Active Users and 1.09 billion daily users.

It spans generations —83% of parents with a teen are friends with their child on Facebook. 50 million businesses use Facebook pages. Facebook is  the most used app.

11.Twitter has 310 million monthly Active Users. Twitter is a place to interact with brands. 42% of users learn about products and services via Twitter.

12.Instagram users are 2.5 times more likely to click on ads than users on other social media platforms.

13.Linked In has 433 million users in more than 200 countries.

More than 128 million users in the US. 49% of key decision makers are on Linked In. So this is the platform where the influencers hang out and can be very profitable.

14.Snapchat has over 100 million daily active users and it’s still growing. It is the second most-used Social Network after Facebook. In Jaffray’s spring 2016 Taking Stock with Teens survey.

28 percent of teen’s ranked Snapchat as the most important social network. I know this firsthand all my 13 nieces and nephews use is Snapchat.

15.You Tube statistics

You Tube has over 1 billion users. 80% of users are outside the U.S. Almost 1/3 of all people on the internet are You Tube users. You Tube reachs more 18 to 49 year olds than any cable network.
