It’s a new month which means as well as planning for the future it’s time for us to take stock and reflect on the past calendar month and what a Mega March of Coverage it was for London PR clients.
We won an incredible 564 items of Media Coverage during March 2019 and clocked up an impressive 528 SEO friendly hyperlinks from some of the UK’s biggest news sites into our clients’ websites. With 17 active projects that means each client enjoyed an average of more than 33 items of media coverage and 31 links across the month – roughly one item of coverage and one link for every day of the month PER CLIENT. And that even includes the weekends when the office isn’t even open!
Some of our favourite stories of the past month included our work with Gogglebox star Jonathan Tapper for client Muscle Food. We worked with the self confessed couch potato to tell journalists how he had managed to shed three stone thanks to MuscleFood’s Do The Unthinkable exercise and eating programme. The story was hugely well received by the media with features appearing across many news websites.
Other stories which did the business for clients this month included our campaign for van parking spaces at supermarkets for client LeaseVan.co.uk and our story about the world’s most expensive car keys for client Senturion.
Our campaign for brand new client MyBaggage.com got off to a strong start with no fewer than three leads in the Express alone. We told the story of the weird items travellers are banned from taking abroad with the Express making leads from our research on Japan, Saudi Arabia and Singapore. The same story even made a lead for the Daily Record with the uniquely Scottish angle of the countries who ban the import of haggis.
London PR director Steve McComish said: “It’s been a strong month with the team achieving some fantastic media coverage for clients. It’s very pleasing to see the average for all clients surpass a coverage item and a link per day. That really is something quite extraordinary.”
