inboundli Tips and Features – August in Review

In August, we focused on improving existing features rather than working on new ones. Our main goals were to improve the way you get started with Inboundli, how you can access your invoices and how you find video content.

Knowledge Base

We gathered use cases, workflows and best practices for using inboundli in six blog posts. You can find the Knowledge base from our website’s footer.

Alternatively, you can visit it here.

The knowledge base is a mix of tutorials and FAQs. We used user feedback and our data to come up with effective workflows and answer common questions at the same time.

We recommend first having a look at the Getting Started post while all other posts can be read in no particular order.

Billing invoices

Until now you received our invoices only per email. Starting from this month, you can also view and download receipts directly from the platform.

To access you current and past invoices, navigate to Settings > Billing and Support and locate the section titled My invoices. Now all you have to do is press the View and download invoices button.

The button will open your billing history where you can click the PDF icon to view an invoice in your browser and download it.

Note: This feature is for additional convenience and you will still continue to receive invoices in an email every month.

Better Video Search

Video is rapidly growing in importance and we felt a need to update the way you find video content in inboundli.

Until now, when you used the video filter in the platform, inboundli returned content that was specifically marked as video. This meant that returned blog posts were solely comprised of a video, sometimes with a transcription.

We felt that this was too narrow and from now inboundli returns any content that has a video in it. So a blog post can be a written article or a collection of images which happen to have video content within the body of the post.

This change significantly increased the amount of video content that you can find in inboundli. So if you haven’t yet tried the video filter, go on and do it now:
