Microsoft unveiled new flagship hardware for Windows 10 for Mobile at an event in NYC, giving birth to the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL.

The Lumia 950 will come with a 5.2-inch display while the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL features a larger 5.7-inch screen. Both offer a 2560 x 1440 resolution, so will be nice and sharp. Both feature and AMOLED display.

Both also have a 20-megapixel PureView camera and USB Type-C, as well as Qi wireless charging. The Lumia 950 comes with the Qualcomm SD808 chip, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, as well as a removable 3000mAh battery. The Lumia 950 XL bumps up the specs slightly with the SD810 chipset and a 3340mAh battery. 

There's a load of innovative features in the new Windows 10 software too, the most impressive of which is Continuum, letting you dock your phone and use it as a desktop PC. Microsoft's one platform dream has now become a reality.
