Do you remember your very first paycheck? How you vowed you were going to work harder to make it in life? After working for a couple of years you realize you keep living from paycheck to paycheck. The drudgery of a 9-5 job gradually takes its toll on you. You start looking for other ways to make Money or in some cases, you end up losing your job completely. Could be a number of reasons but the bottom line is you no more have a stable income.
A couple of years ago nobody dreamed of earning money online. Now, most people are doing exactly that. Why should you be left out?
The level of unemployment in some countries is alarming. Things are changing very fast. When I was growing up, there was no facebook, twitter or Instagram. How did social media become such a huge part of our lives? Facebook didn’t just fall into the laps of Mark Zuckerberg. He saw an opportunity online and never looked back. Others followed suit and look how far we have come. Now even Presidents have twitter accounts.who would have thought it was possible? As I am writing this article there are areas that remain unchartered, trails that are waiting to be blazed. Jackie Collins, one of my favourite authors has a novel called”the world is full of married men”.I can tell you the world is full of opportunities. Opportunities online and offline. You have to unleash your inner genius. We all know something we can do exceptionally well. Everyone has at least one skill he or she can excel at.
If you are very active online then the opportunities are endless. Before successful entrepreneurs became household names, they were just like you and I.At a point in my life, I was managing a big store in Johannesburg. It was very common for 4-6 people to pass by with their CV every day. I met one such guy who was an immigrant. I told him there was no vacancy but he begged me to give him any job. I found him quite interesting because he spoke flawless English. He told me they were six in a single room and that food was a luxury so he was willing to do any kind of work. I took him aside and told him I couldn’t help him with a job but I encouraged him to keep trying and pointed him to places he could try. Fast forward 3 months later, One young guy impeccably dressed greeted me with a wide smile and offered his hand. You guessed right, it was the same guy from three months back. He was gainfully employed and told me that he was very very happy. A week never passed without him passing by to say hello. What I noticed was his new demeanour. He now had a very pleasant one. He walked with such confidence. Why did I tell you this story? There is a huge difference between the employed and the unemployed. Earning a stable income adds value to your life.
Take the number of people online, the internet presents many opportunities. People are looking for ways to make money online, some are already making money online. The internet is here to stay. Most shops have an online presence because they know the advantages associated with reaching a global audience.
When I started looking for online money making opportunities, one site I made a lot of Paypal money on was points2shop.In signing up for survey sites ,your location makes a very big difference. When I got tired of small change,I jumped on the affiliate marketing wagon. I soon found out that making money online comes with different levels. If you are satisfied with surveys and PPC sites, it is fine but you can raise the bar a bit higher and become an affiliate marketer. But what takes the cake? Blogging, yes, you have so much control over how to make it work for you. Making money online means you can work from any part of the world,anytime,dressed anyhow. It comes with the kind of freedom that a lot desire,but also with the sort of self discipline successful people possess. There is the danger of doing too little at a time. With this sort of mentality expect your idea to come crashing down very soon. Be passionate  about your blog . Work tirelessly till you start seeing fruitful results. I must say the motivation to work harder is made easier when you earn your first paycheck from your blog. The aim of this Post is to encourage those who want to blog or start something in their lives to just start.
