ADSENSE ALTERNATIVES-MONETIZE YOUR BLOG

Setting up your blog for monetization leads most bloggers to Adsense. Adsense helps you to generate revenue for your blog by placing advertisements on your blog. When visitors view and click on these ads, you get paid. AdSense is the first name that comes to mind if you want to use ads for monetization on your blog. It’s well-known as the best and rightly so because it offers the more money for clicks than the rest. If that is the case then, it is no wonder every blogger wants to sign up with them. The only problem is that it’s getting increasingly difficult to be accepted by Adsense now. Most get rejected everyday for reasons that they can’t do much about. This blog got rejected because of” policy violation”.I tried to find out from AdSense forum what policy I had violated only to be told the site had no policy violation per se but was rejected because it was a money-making site. The email I received said to fix these issues and re-submit the site for approval but what is there to fix? Change the niche because Adsense doesn’t like it? I don’t think so. I resubmitted again and after a week this site was approved by AdSense. In getting approval for AdSense you would come across a lot of articles telling you what is acceptable and what is not. I will advise you to concentrate on creating good content. Whether you get approval or not should not be a yardstick for measuring your blog’s success.  Many get dejected when they are rejected by AdSense but this is because they are new bloggers and think Ads are the only way to monetize their blogs. Advertisements on your blog is not the best way to monetize your blog. It is only one method, this is not my first blog and I didn’t use Adsense on those blogs so I know. If you have lots of traffic and want to monetize through ads then Adsense is the winner hands down. They are the best because they pay more and will serve customized ads which suits your blog. Their ads are well designed and would make your site look better. It’s easy for you to check how many clicks you have and getting paid is done without a hassle. If only you can get through their strict screening process then go for that. A well-known alternative to Adsense is media.net.Media.net is an ad network by Bing and Yahoo. Compared to Adsense, media.net prefers traffic from the UK, Canada. and US, and getting approval takes a much shorter time than Adsense. You should have a high volume of traffic as well and your site must be in English. If your blog is new, this is obviously not good news. Adsense and media.net are the top two ad network if you want to go with ads but there are other alternatives which are very friendly to new bloggers and you can easily get approval even with  no traffic.

Infolinks is worth trying out if you are a new blogger and want to experiment with ads. Approval takes only two working days and you don’t need to have a number of page views to start. If you started blogging today you can apply and get approval provided you have content on your site. I am yet to come across anyone they have rejected. There are so many ways to display Infolinks ad on your site. They got you covered even if you don’t have space to display their ads. They have in-text ads that turn some of your keywords into links. If a visitor hovers over these keywords they display an Ad. The link colour can even be customized by you and you can choose how many of such links you want to display per page.

This is only one way, go to their site to see the others for yourself. They even pay you through PayPal and Payoneer and you can get your money once you have made $50.The only downside is, in comparison to Adsense and Media.net their rate is lower. when integrating Infolinks ad on your site, make sure you experiment with different type of ads to see which one will work well for you.
Another ad network with a low payment threshold is Bidvertiser. Bidvertiser is a direct advertising network. You can request payment if you make $10 and they pay through PayPal, Payza, wire transfer or check. The approval process is simple. You don’t need traffic to get approval and your website can be in any language. The biggest disadvantage of Bidvertiser is that their rate is very low. The ads that they serve may also not be relevant to your blog content. If you like getting paid frequently then Bidvertiser will work well for you because of their low minimum threshold.
Viglink is not well known as Adsense. It also works differently from the ad networks I have already mentioned. What Viglinks does is to insert profitable affiliate links into your articles. When someone clicks on those links you get 75% and they get 25%. As a new blogger, you can start with Viglink because you don’t need to have traffic before applying. If your Adsense account has been suspended and you want to earn with advertising, give these alternatives a try. If you are on WordPress you can just install the Viglink plugin to make things easier for you.
Making money with your blog can be done in many ways. Ads are what most people use. In my opinion, if you want to earn enough to live on, you would be better off selling your own products or promoting affiliate products.
