AJMER: In the aftermath of raising Covid-19 instances from the district, the JLN Medical College on Saturday established the Maglumi 800 machine testing centre that can expedite the evaluation outcomes.

College principal Veer Bahadur Singh and superintendent Anil Jain on Saturday inaugurated the system and stated this will assist in treatment of Covid patients arriving to JLN Hospital. Jain stated that this system will be handy for critical Covid patients since the hospital won’t need to send samples out for evaluation.
Briefing about the significance of this machine, head of the section of bio-chemistry Dr Deepa Thadani and Professor Sarla Mahawar reported the system will be helpful in analyzing interleukin-6, a protein which enables the body to modulate immune reactions and these tests will assess the status. The system will also aid in analyzing d-dimer utilized to rule out blood clot in Covid patients.
